Ye Worship Ye Know Not What
GL Parks

Certainly most of the religions of the world do not know what they worship or should be worshiping. "Ye worship ye know not what", are words that Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well. The Samaritans were mixed descendants of the twelve tribes of Israel yet they thought they were worshiping the same God of the Jews, only in a different location. They were worshiping on a mountain and the Jews were worshiping in the temple in Jerusalem. There is a significant reason why the God of the Samaritans was different than the God of the Jews. They were both worshiping the same God during the days of Moses. What had happened to the Samaritan's understanding of God during the years that had transpired between Moses and the time when Jesus encountered the Samaritan woman at the well? Could the words of Jesus to her, "Ye worship ye know not what", apply to contemporary Christians? G.L. Parks believes that the words of Jesus do apply. He succinctly shows that "mountains" in the Bible represent people who have exalted themselves, their beliefs and their doctrines above the present revelation of God. The Samaritans worshiped only in the "mountain" or past understanding of God through the writings of Moses. The Jews ascribed not only to Moses, but the subsequent prophets after Moses. They had a present revelation of what God was. Are most contemporary Christians worshiping only in the "mountain" experience of their fathers? In this book G.L. Parks shows that they are.

A Second Look at First Thessalonians "Rapture"
GL Parks

Search the scriptures to see whether these things be so about the rapture. In this book G.L. Parks has diligently searched the scriptures and has allowed the Bible to interpret the Bible and more importantly allowed Paul to interpret Paul. Each has a way of expressing themselves and so did the Apostle Paul. Peter stated that some of the things that Paul wrote were hard to be understood. A few verses should not be taken out of context and an entire belief system designed around those extracted verses. Almost two thousand years after the fact a doctrine was perpetrated in such a manner. That doctrine is the "pre-tribulation rapture" doctrine. The rapture doctrine does not line up with the plan of God for the "earth" as the inhabitants of the planet. The fire that burns this "earth" is not literal but is the same fire that Jesus kindled in Luke 12:49-50. That fire completely burned the elements of the Old Covenant and is presently burning the "earth" in the New Covenant. The New Covenant is simply defined as Christ in you as the hope of glory. If you ascribe to the rapture doctrine as G.L. Parks did for many years, then you must allow the consuming fire (God) to burn your foundation and start building again on a sure foundation. That foundation is not established on a futuristic great tribulation, a coming anti-Christ, an outer space heaven or a flying off the planet. The sure foundation is the understanding of the Christ and His true plan for the planet.

Historical VS The Hysterical View of Matthew 24
GL Parks

Is the prophecy by Jesus in Matthew 24 soon to happen, or has it already transpired? Did the things that Jesus mentioned in this chapter come upon the generation that Jesus spoke to, or will it come upon our generation? If history proves that the prophecy happened exactly as Jesus said, why does the church not proclaim it? If the prophecy is already fulfilled, what does this chapter mean to us? If you dare to look beyond the cliché-ridden, unsubstantiated view of end-time events, you will love the freedom of this solid biblical revelation. This book takes you verse by verse through the chapter and clearly explains the historical fulfillment of this world changing prophecy. You are sure to rejoice as you see how Matthew 24 ushered in a glorious new day known as the New Covenant.

2 x 212 Reasons Why Jesus Did Not Come Back in 2012
GL Parks

As in the past, so it is in the present, men continue to predict the coming of the Lord according to their calculations. Numerous dates have previously been set for this occurrence only to be revised when it did not occur. The latest prediction as of this writing was set for December of 2012. It is prophesied by the scriptures that this date need be modified also. The predicted dates will continue to occur until we get the picture that we may be misinterpreting the scriptures. In this work G. L. Parks examines the scriptures from a different perspective than he was taught and that which is found in much of the contemporary church world. Most modern prophecy centers around doom and gloom for the planet due to misinterpretation and/or the seeming need for sensationalism. It is shown here that there is total victory at the Cross and by the Spirit for mankind; that man will rule and reign on the earth through that which God has already made available to the inhabitants of the planet. Of course, this modifies the understanding of His coming. Could it be possible that His coming is not how it is portrayed in modern eschatology and that He has already come to change the world in a fashion understood by few?

COMING SOON! Peace Has Come To The Middle East
GL Parks

A Super Power has dispatched an Emissary armed with a peace accord that if ratified by all factions will permanently stabilize the historically contentious region of the Middle East. The Super Power is God, the Emissary is Christ Jesus and the peace accord is the New Covenant. Many Christians today do not truly understand the composition or the location of the New Covenant. Even our national policies influenced by the term “Judeo/Christian ethic”, unwittingly contribute to the seemingly endless warring insurrections of this region. Ratification of the New Covenant brought by the Emissary who is the New Covenant will forever calm the area. Peace has come to the Middle East. All will eventually accept the peace accord so get an early jump.

COMING SOON! A River Runs Through It (The Bible)
GL Parks

The Bible was written in an Eastern graphic language. Jesus spoke in parables and without a parable He did not speak unto them. The prophets down through history spoke and wrote in metaphors and analogies. Thus, the word pictures painted by Jesus and the various prophets cannot be solely interpreted as being literal. In fact the Spiritual pictures painted by the Biblical characters and writers portray a greater and more meaningful Spiritual understanding than natural happenings. It is readily ascertained that natural geographical features actually portray people. In Biblical terminology Clouds, mountains, trees, etc. on many occasions actually represent people. A Spiritual river begins in Genesis and runs through the book of Revelation which actually determines God’s plan for the planet. This book takes us on an exciting trip via this river. Bon Voyage.

COMING SOON! Daniel and The Beasty Boys
GL Parks

Like Matthew 24, the contemporary church world seems to panic when they read Daniel 7 as they attempt to apply its historical content to the day in which we live. Four beasts rise up out of the sea in Daniel 7 and Daniel is eventually given the understanding of who these men (kingdoms) really are. The last beast in Daniel 7 actually rises up out of the sea in Revelation 13. But, this fourth beast of Daniel 7 is replaced by a beast that rises up out of the earth. The number, (666) that Christendom so fears today is actually exposed for what it is. Not to fear the number buster is here.
